Privacy notice

This notice explains how TWS Visa uses personal information when you visit our website, check readiness, prepare a visa application or contact us. TWS Visa is independent of the UK Government, UKVI and visa application centres.

Information we collect

• Identity and contact details, including passport information.
• Travel, immigration, family, work, education and financial information you provide.
• Uploaded documents and information about their review.
• Payment and transaction records. Card details are handled by our payment provider.
• Messages, support requests, consents and service history.
• Device, security and usage data, such as IP address, browser, session and audit information.

Why we use it

We use information to provide and secure the service, create preparation checklists, organise documents, respond to requests, take payment, keep records, meet legal duties and improve the experience. We do not decide visa applications or guarantee outcomes.

Lawful bases

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation or consent. Where information includes special-category data, we also identify an applicable additional condition.

Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised TWS Visa personnel and vetted suppliers supporting hosting, communications, payments, security and customer service. We may disclose information where legally required. We do not submit information to UKVI, a visa application centre or another adviser unless the service expressly includes this and you are told beforehand.

International transfers

If information is accessed or stored outside the UK, we use an applicable safeguard and assess the transfer where required.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed. See our retention and deletion policy.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contact privacy@twsvisa.com. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Automated decisions

Readiness results are preparation guidance. TWS Visa does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without the required information and safeguards.

Changes

We may update this notice when our service or legal obligations change. Material changes will be highlighted.
